Starfish Construction Strengthens its Presence in London with Latest Operational Hub Offices
Starfish Construction has supported the London City Scape for several years with façade and roofing solutions. Our projects and support services are evident throughout London City and the South of England. We are delighted to announce that our strategic growth plans for 2023 have taken another exciting step, as we recently secured a new operational hub at 227 Shepard’s Bush Road, Hammersmith, London, W6 7AS.
The relocation from our previous London-based office to our new location at Hammersmith aligns with our plans to engage with customers in a place and environment that is accessible and productive for them. We now have increased space and welcome customers, partners, and our supply chain to meet and plan their developments with us.
Although our service solutions, customers and projects are UK-wide, it’s been evident to us that there is a demand for our support in London and with many successful completed projects already, we are experiencing a healthy enquiry and order book in the area, which we are confident will continue to grow.
"Our projects and relationships within London, and surrounding areas, are continually growing. This growth and success are, without a doubt, driven by a demand for our services and the effective way our people do business and build honest and trusted relationships."
John Jessimer, Managing Director, Starfish Construction.
Adam Denton-Beaumont, who manages the London & The South region, commented on the new offices, “Operating within the London and South of England area presents a fantastic opportunity for us to support customers. Although we’ve been working on many projects within the area for some time and have built a growing and trusted reputation and customer base, our new offices will certainly enhance our customer relationships. Starfish Construction is an interconnected company where colleagues bring their expertise to support and provide solutions to a diverse range of project types. Although all our UK operational hubs work as a collective, our intention with the new London office location is to be accessible and guide our customers with our expertise and knowledge across strategy, design, materials and, of course, the most cost-effective and safe solution for their roofing and façade projects.”
The move comes as part of the Starfish Construction strategic plan for 2023, set out by the company management team. John Jessimer, Starfish Construction Managing Director, commented, “I am delighted to have secured our new operational hub offices in Hammersmith. We took the time to consider many locations and office space before deciding on the Hammersmith offices, but our new home ticked every box for us. Our projects and relationships within London, and surrounding areas, are continually growing. This growth and success are, without a doubt, driven by a demand for our services and the effective way our people do business and build honest and trusted relationships. We envisage our London office becoming one of, if not the largest, of our operational hubs, and I am certain our portfolio of customers and projects will continue to grow.”
Starfish Construction has also been growing its core team across all operational hubs throughout the UK and their integrated divisions, including finance and admin, commercial function, building design, technical surveying, project management and business development, dedicated multi-skilled trades site teams, and including Resident Liaison Officers.
John said, “Over the past few years, our directly employed team and capabilities have grown and added value to our customers. The London office offers new and exciting career opportunities for people to join Starfish Construction, contribute and become part of our success. Immediately, as part of the new office and continued growth in the area, we are recruiting Business Development Managers to become part of the London team and drive growth and expansion in the region over the next 5 years. The new recruits will add to the highly capable Management Team, we currently have servicing the capital. We welcome experienced and driven people, familiar with construction and the London area, to apply.”
John concluded, “I would like to thank everyone who has played a pivotal role in our development in London thus far, and thank those who assisted in co-ordinating the new office. I look forward to our development and welcoming customers, partners, and supply chain network to our new London home.”
