Learning and development are critical for any business to grow. At Starfish Construction, our ELEVATE programme guides our culture, operations, and learning and development for all employees.
We believe in providing opportunities for employees to develop their skills and take on new challenges within the company. Learning and Development programmes enable our staff to enhance their existing knowledge and skills to excel in their current position. Growing their knowledge base and learning new skills or work practices will allow them to elevate their status within Starfish Construction Group.
Our induction process for all new employees provides the foundations to become an integral part of Starfish Construction, where learning and development begin from day one.
Continual Development and Training
When we initiated Elevate, we wanted it to be an ethos running through our customer service and every element of our business. From guiding how we manage on-site projects to being integral to every department of Starfish Construction.
The construction sector is constantly evolving. From new legislation critical to safety to technological advancements and products, we all need to continue improving our skills. Starfish Construction requires all team members to participate in our Learning and Development process. Enabling our more experienced managers to help us design our in-house courses will enhance each department in the company.
We want this new learning and development platform to be the first steps on the road to creating a skills academy. We have some of the UK's best construction industry professionals passionate about teaching the next generation.

Developing a Passion - Elevate eLearning Platform
Many Construction Sector commentators assert we must develop talent to have skilled people who can deliver future building projects. To maintain our position with other nations, the UK needs to rely on highly competent construction professionals with a vision for the future.
Starfish Construction needs to play its part in developing this skilled workforce, so we are creating a bespoke eLearning Platform for our Elevate Programme. By working with our learning and communication partner, the management team is developing a system to enhance our skills.
